The combat shotgun is a superb close-quarters battle weapon. Incredibly quick and devastating at close range, it is superior to the submachine gun in many ways. These capabilities are only available to the trained operator. For everyone else, it is just a shotgun. When you finish this course, you will be one of the very few to have the training and techniques to master one of the most awesome short-range weapons of the world.

Your training includes the following:

  • Multiple Weapon Type Familiarization
  • Stances: Close Contact, Intermediate, Extreme Range
  • Shotgun Operations: Sequence of Fire, Tactical Reloads, Port Loading, After Engagement Immediate Action Drills
  • High-Speed Engagements Against Single and Multiple Targets
  • Engaging Multiple Opponents in Move-and-Shoot Scenarios
  • Assault Courses
  • Close-Contact Engagements
  • Extended Range Select Slug Drills
  • Hostage Head Shots

EQUIPMENT REQUIRED (rentals available - see below):

  • Shotgun (pump or semi-auto only)
  • Semi-Auto Pistol (9mm, 40 cal, or 45 cal)
  • 3 magazines (minimum) for pistol
  • Shotgun sling (standard sling or assault sling)
  • Shotgun shell dispenser (B.Y.O., rent, or buy at class)
  • Eyes and ears protection
  • Hat with visor (like a baseball hat)
  • Solid belt (1 1/2 to 1 3/4" thick to hold holster firmly)
  • Holster and magazine pouches
  • 250 rounds of "00 buck" ammo (MUST purchase at class)
  • 30 rounds of "slug" ammo (MUST purchase at class)
  • 200 rounds of pistol ammunition (available for purchase at class)
  • Pen and notepad
  • Snack and bottled water

NOTE: No shoulder holsters, no deep concealment rigs, no cross-draws. Strong side belt holsters only. Guns and rigs can be rented for class use, but you must reserve ahead of time. Call for information or if you have any questions whatsoever.
