Night/Low-light Operations
American Defense Enterprises offers advanced training in the skills and tactics necessary to fight in
low-light and no-light environments. Civilian, police, and military personnel share one modern-day
reality: the vast majority of shootings occur either at night or in low light conditions. To be proficient with
your handgun at night, against armed adversaries, you must become good with either a weapon
mounted light or one of the various flashlight techniques. A.D.E. training produces operators with
weapon and light techniques that have become automatic. Some training fundamentals include:
· Handgun light techniques: Harries and Wilson-Rogers
· High speed and simultaneous presentation of pistol and combat light to opponent, starting from
holster.
· Low-light search techniques
· Low-light movement against adversaries
· Engaging multiple opponents using weapon and combat light
· Weapon-mounted light training
· Light shield techniques
· “Blind” tactical emergency reloads
· “Blind” malfunction clearance
· Nighttime door entry and breaching techniques
· Low-light room and building search scenarios
· Low-light engagements after breaching room
